Add Google, YouTube, Wikipedia Dictionary Search To iOS 5 Notification Center Share
PDF Print E-mail

The Notification Center in iOS 5 has been receiving countless number of tweaks for jailbroken iOS 5 devices via Cydia. Earlier, we covered a few handy widgets for the Notification Center but WeeSearch, while being a truly simple widget is, in fact, more appealing than most widgets we’ve come across, due to its practicality and the convenience it provides. As the name of the tweak itself suggests, the widget adds search capabilities to the Notification Center with Google, Youtube, Wikipedia and Dictionary search results.

The tweak stays true to its name and has no extra fancy features to offer. Usage doesn’t get much simpler; just type in your query, choose the search option and hit the big green button! You can find this tweak in the BigBoss repository, or you can search for WeeSearch from within Cydia’s Search tab.

Once installed, open Settings and in Notifications, drag WeeSearch into the In Notification Center panel.
