Urban Dictionary is a website that can make you laugh at times and can come up with some really street-smart nuggets every once in a while. If you have a sense of humor, then you are sure to love Urban Dictionary’s quirky definitions of various terms, slangs and phrases. Speaking of sense of humor, if you own an iPhone 4S, you might have thought that Siri can certainly use a healthy dose of wit. Urban Dictionary Assistant for Siri is a tweak that provides that much-needed shot of humor to Apple’s talking personal assistant. Using this Cydia tweak, you can ask Siri to provide you with any term’s Urban Dictionary definition. Not only will Siri read every piece of relevant information associated with the specified keyword, you can also share the definitions over your social network.

Urban Dictionary Assistant is based on the AssistantExtensions platform for Siri, and you will need to have that if you want to enjoy Urban Dictionary on your iPhone (it will be installed automatically if you don’t have it). After you have downloaded Urban Dictionary on your Siri-enabled iDevice, launch Siri and just say “Search urban Dictionary for,” followed by the desired keyword. Siri will come up with the definition for the specified term, along with its synonyms.

If you want, you can copy any definition from Urban Dictionary Assistant using the Copy button available in the yellow bar marked Share. From the same bar, it is possible to share the text over Twitter. Urban Dictionary for Siri is a fun tweak that works without causing any lag on your iDevice. So, if you are getting bored of Siri, do give this tweak a try. It is available as a free download from the BigBoss repo in the Cydia store.
